Victorian Extravaganza - Hotel Llandudno

Every year in May, Llandudno, North Wales, holds the Victorian Extravaganza. The Extravaganza runs over the May bank holiday weekend and this year runs from the 5th to 7th. This is one of the busiest times of the year for Llandudno and usually sets off the summer of tourism in the area, the Wilton Hotel Llandudno is an ideal place to stay – with the Prom Day event also held along the sea front from Colwyn Bay to Llandudno.

There are many great attractions in Llandudno all year round, with the addition of the Extravaganza there’s certainly plenty to do. The event sees Llandudno packed with steam engines, Victorian musical organs, vintage cars and costumes and many stalls and markets. The weekend sees Llandudno sent back in time into its glorious Victorian heritage.

There are a lot of places to stay in Llandudno, with hotels lined up along the coast line. If the weather’s good, the Extravaganza weekend isn’t something to miss. The beautiful scenery of North Wales makes a perfect setting for any get away weekend; as a couple or a family.
