Gwydyr View Lodge Park is located on the eastern edge of Snowdonia National Park. The holiday park Snowdonia is a small retreat, with only thirteen lodges; all of luxurious quality.
The park offers some spectacular views of Snowdonia and Gwydyr Forest. The appeal of the park is its remote location, perfect for walking and family holidays away from home life. The location is a breath of fresh air, with a surprising amount on offer.
There are many places to visit while in Snowdonia National Park; including the popular Betws-y-Coed. Many visitors to the area often trip up North to coastal towns of Conwy and Llandudno. The park is accessed by a private entrance which has an automatic gate. Each lodge has its own parking space, digital TV and phone. There’s also a large spacious sundeck allowing you to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and views. The terrain offers a large range of walking and mountain biking opportunities; including eleven lakes, such as Lake Crafnant which offers excellent trout fishing and picnic facilities.
There are also a large range of water sports available from Lake Geirionydd, which is within two miles of the park.
There are many other activities and places to visit scattered throughout Snowdonia National Park, including many villages and natural landmarks. The mountain of Snowdon is extremely popular with walkers, as the highest mountain is England and Wales.
