Festival Number 6 is a bespoke banquet of music, arts and
culture. If you relish fantastic atmosphere, great company and a line-up of must-see
artists of many genres then this is the festival for you.
Accommodation is available
on site at some of the local hotels, however if you wish to break away from the
event once the evenings draw to a close, then there are some great caravan sites in North Wales you can stay at.
Set within the idyllic Italian-style village of Portmeirion,
the event boasts some of the beautiful sceneries you will find in North Wales.
Breathtaking views coupled with the various venue locations filled with
artists, great food, crafts and much more throughout the festival, creates a
four-day attraction you’ll never forget.
The music side of the event presents a unique line up of
acts including, but most certainly not exclusive to, James Morrison, Grace
Jones, Mark Ronson, Rae Morris and Thud Crackle Pop to name a few. All live
acts and DJs will perform at a number of venues which include Castell Park; a
stunning location with a view over the picturesque River Dwyryd, and The
Woodlands; 70 acres of exotic woodlands that surround Portmeirion.
During the four-day event you can break away from the hub of
all the music and explore the arts and culture side of Festival Number 6. There
will be a large number of talks and discussions, theatre, spectacles and
installations, comedy and cinema shows to enjoy. There will be talks and
discussions by Steve Coogan and a special screening of ‘Amy’ – a film about Amy
Winehouse followed with an exclusive Q&A with BAFTA award-winning director
Asif Kapadia and multi Grammy and Brit Award-winning producer Mark Ronson.
Lastly, this is sure to be a long weekend of indulgence. The
White Horses Promenade will be transformed into a unique restaurant, which will
host a range of Michelin star chefs for a series of long table banquets. If sit
down meals are not on your agenda for the weekend, there will be the Welsh
Produce Market and Street Food, providing guests with delicious cuisine on to
go.
