The holidays are coming and with the festive season fast
approaching, now is the time to start booking your Christmas retreat. North
Wales is a beautiful place to visit all year round, with stunning scenery,
brilliant events and much more. With many locations to choose from, we
understand choosing the right place to stay can be difficult. Therefore we have
chosen the best location to stay this Christmas for you and all for good
reason.
The Victorian town Llandudno invites visitors to explore
everything it has to offer, from the almighty Great Orme and Llandudno Pier, to
the tranquil West Shore and array of independent stores and cafes. This time of
year however, there is a cluster of events happening. This makes Llandudno the
ideal place to stay this Christmas.
There are a fantastic number of Llandudno hotels to choose from, but not all hotels offer a
seafront location and fantastic service like Lauriston Court and their sister
hotel, Lawton Court. The hotels are located only a couple minutes’ walk away
from Llandudno Pier, the Great Orme Tramway and the heart of the town itself. You
have everything you need right on your doorstep.
This Christmas however, you can enjoy much more than the
everyday sights of Llandudno. There are so many attractions and events to
attend, starting this Saturday 7th November 2015 with the Llandudno
Firework Display. The display will take place at the end of the pier, where you
will have front row seats right on the North Parade. If you wish to keep warm,
Lauriston Court has beautiful seafront rooms to book so you can enjoy the
fireworks from the comfort of your ‘home away from home’.
All the Christmas fun begins on Thursday 19th
November on Trinity Square and Madoc Street, when the Llandudno Christmas Fayre
comes to town. The four day event will carry on through to Sunday 22nd
November, providing us all with merry music, craft and food stalls, samples,
light displays and Santa’s Grotto! The Christmas fayre brings the town lots of
entertainment each year, but 2015 is expected to be the biggest and best fayre
yet.
The Christmas fun does not stop there, as on Wednesday 2nd
December the Coca Cola Christmas truck we all know and love is arriving at
Colwyn Bay. Colwyn bay is a short 10-15minute drive from Llandudno, with
fantastic bus links running every 10 minutes, or trains every half an hour. The
main event will take place from 12pm-8pm on Abergele Road, just a minute’s walk
from the Colwyn Bay Train Station.
Don’t delay and book accommodation with these Llandudno
hotels today to avoid disappointment.
