One of Llandudno’s most popular tourist attractions, (and with its grand stature it’s not exactly hard to miss), is the Great Orme. You can access the summit of the Great Orme via a clearly marked trail or on the famous Llandudno Victorian Tram, originally built in 1902. The summit is home to an impressive information centre and café, with a children’s play area and summit landmark for those who wish to take a photograph of their achievement. On the front side of the Great Orme is Llandudno’s famous Ski Centre; one of the longest running ski slopes in the United Kingdom.
Parc Llandudno and Mostyn Champneys are Llandudno’s two main shopping centres. There are several high street shops to be found on Mostyn Street, however, Parc Llandudno is the place to be when engaging in some retail therapy. With its modern architectural design and major retail outlets, Parc Llandudno continues to be a popular location for holidaymakers and locals alike.
However, nothing quite matches the popularity of the Llandudno sea front. On a clear summer's day the Victorian Promenade is packed to the brim with tourists and locals who are out to get a spot of sunshine. Once your day of fun is over, you have a fantastic choice of restaurants for your evening meal. However, those utilising the benefits of self catering accommodation can choose to cook whatever they like in their own kitchen.
