Rhyl

Rhyl is a great place for the whole family to go on holiday. Ideally situated close to other tourist destinations in North Wales, there are always lots of things to do.

Rhyl has its own Sea Aquarium where you can visit the animals, enjoy daily live animal shows, and expand your underwater animal knowledge.

Rhyl also has its own nature reserve, where you can spend the day relaxing with your family and take a picnic. Here you can enjoy some bird spotting, or even ride on Britain’s oldest running miniature train, which takes passengers around Brickfields.

Because the town is situated on the coast, the whole family can enjoy a day on the beach when visiting Rhyl. With beautiful sand, sea, peak time donkey rides and refreshments your little ones will have a great time. In fact, Rhyl is often referred to by locals as "Sunny Rhyl" as when the rest of North Wales is cloudy, there is often a golden beam of sunshine glowing down on Rhyl and Rhyl alone.
